Whitesboro Planning Board Meeting Minutes   1/5/10

Planning Board members in attendance:

Bob Friedlander (Chairman), John Duda, Bob Misiaszek, John Cieslewitz, and Gary Roberts.

Also in attendance:  Richard Shaffer, Village Trustee, and Village Attorney Richard Parker.

Meeting was called to order @ 7:00 pm.

Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

Minutes of last meeting, 12/1/09, were reviewed.

Motion to accept by John Cieslewitz, 2^nd Bob Misiaszek     Motion carried:  yes

Correspondence:

Training class on 1/26/10, 2 hr., on Comprehensive plan.

Handout about completing training credits on line.

Whitestown Council of Villages Annual Banquet - 1/23/10 info.

Comments:

None

Old Business:

Verizon Tower:  Atty. Scott Olsen & Rep. Christine Howell

Review of their last visit.  The checklist was reviewed against information provided by Verizon since last appearance.

Fence or shrubbery around tower site is an issue.

Whitesboro-Insurance, Attorney Parker explained liabilities and village held harmless.

Attorney Rick Mauro, Joe Mauro's son questioned whether their property was researched for the tower.  It stated that it was.

A public hearing about the proposed Cell tower is set for 2/2/10 at 7:15 PM

Motion for Planning Board to be the lead agency for SEQR by Bob Misiaszek, 2^nd by John Cieslewitz.  Approved?  Yes
